We are based in Huancayo, the most important and modern city of the central region of the Andes of Peru.
The Guest House "Samay Hostel" is close to the train station, bus services, markets, restaurants, shopping centres and other public services.
At "Samay" hostel you really will feel at home. From here you can enjoy the rich cultural traditions of the Andes and the Amazon. The region has many tourist attractions for you to explore, allowing you to really get to know the local history, folklore, culture, handicrafts and nature.
Our home is also perfect for volunteers and researchers who wish to work in the local communities around the city or in the jungle. From our home you will have the support of a local NGO and the Central University.

Directions
To get from Lima (Peru's capital) to the city of Huancayo there are many bus companies, the voyage is approximately 6 hours.
The Bus station in Huancayo are scattered in different parts of town we recommend: To reach the lodge samay board a taxi to arrive between 10 and 20 minutes at the latest.
The other option is to call the hosting samay, who gladly pick you up from any Bus Station (the price for this service is only s/. 3.00 soles)
