Dar Drissi is 250 years old. It has classic architecture with pillars, arches, intricate zelij (mozaic ceramic tiles), painted wood patterns and carved plasterwork. Much of it is original and the rest restored in the same style. There is a marbled courtyard with fountain. This area can be covered in wet weather. There is an extensive roof terrace with shaded seating areas. Tea and coffee making facilities are available.
Dar Drissi is a fully restored old house in the heart of the ancient Fez medina. It is available as room rental or as whole house rental. English (and other language) staff are available to assist you. Guides and excursions can also be provided.
The guest house has four rooms of differing sizes. Each is priced separately and should be booked individually.
There are fans and heaters but it is not air-conditioned. Breakfast, maid service and clean linen and towels are included in the price. All taxes are also included in the price.
Please note we have 72-hour cancellation policy
Directions
It is usually best to be guided to the house, which our staff are happy to do. For the adventurous: enter the medina at Ain Azliten. Turn left down RueTalaa Kebira. After 250 metres there is a distinct double dogleg (right/left). This is also marked by an overhead sign 'Best Phone'. At the second dogleg there are two passages off to the right. Take the rightmost of the two. Then turn right again after a few paces. Pass along a narrow passage that widens after 30 metres. Follow this passage 150 metres to see 'Dar Drissi' and '24' signs in tiles on the side of the house entrance passageway. If you don't find it call Kibir on +212 (0) 6 45 75 29 56 .
