Ares Rooms

A safe, clean and relaxing environment awaits you at this small cosy traditional guesthouse, where quiet surroundings and attentiveness to the needs of our guests have been the main concern of the family-run management since it was established in the early 50s.

All its large light airy rooms have double glazed aluminium windows. There are single rooms (with larger than normal single beds), twins/doubles and triples which are all fully furnished with a sink, mirror, hairdryer and central heating.

This area of Rome is very vibrant, with many art and handicraft studios and shops, lively restaurants, pubs and wine bars to suit all ages and tastes and attracting a curious, discerning and cosmopolitan crowd.

Directions

It is located in the heart of hystorical Rome, near the Basilica of Saint Mary Major.

With just a five minute walking you'll be able to join Roma Termini Railway Station and its Air Terminal and, of course, both Underground lines A & B.

Colosseo, Foro Romano and the most beautiful monuments of ancient Rome are just a short walk from us.

Public transport

* Stop for buses 16, 70, 71, 714 (to downtown Rome and other eastern and south-eastern districts)
* Night buses 45N (to dowtown Rome), 30N and 55N (to other eastern and south-eastern districts)
* Many other buses to wherever you want to go in the city.
