Bed and Breakfast Bel Duomo is situated in a pedestrians only area just 20 metres from Piazza del Duomo and about 600 metres (10 minutes walk) from Florence\'s main railway station, Santa Maria Novella. On the second floor (with no lift) of an historic palazzo Bel Duomo is close to all the most important museums, shops and restaurants of the city centre.
Furnished in traditional style, the decor blends harmoniously with the high ceilings and generous size of the rooms. By car, from Rome, Bologna or Milan, exit Firenze Sud and then follow directions to the city center. B&B Bel Duomo is situated in a pedestrians only area, the most economical and closest garage to us is Garage Giglio, in Via del Giglio at about 300 metres from our B&B.
From Santa Maria novella railway Station take any bus heading towards the Duomo and get off at the pedestrian area, keep on walking straight ahead until you get to Piazza San Giovanni (in which the Batttistero stands), Borgo San Lorenzo is the first street on the left leading off the corner of Piazza San Giovanni.
