Desert Routes Inn

When walking the desert routes, one seeks a place to unwind at the end of the day, reflect today's adventures and what lies ahead for tomorrow.
Like ancient times, in Desert Routes Inn you will find all you need after a long hiking day. Our main complex is built as a large shaded desert inn, with sitting areas of low lying tables, mattes, carpets and cushions interspaced with hammocks. In addition you are invited to enjoy a wide variety of facilities including a health spa, a large central hot-tube, an information center, two large well equipped self-catering kitchens, a large open dinning area, games (pool and ping-pong), free wireless internet and hot beverages with light refreshments.


Rooms:
Each private room includes a linen &towels, small kitchenette, a refrigerator, an eating area, satellite TV, air conditioning and attached bathroom and shower. We offer rooms in various sizes - twin-bed, double, triple or family room (4-5 people).
In addition, our dormitories is a large sleeping hut suited for up to 12 people, with mattresses and attached bathroom. It is best if you bring your own sleeping bag/linen. However, if required we can provide them to you.


Spa and treatments

At the center of our complex is a relaxing and pampering treatment spa offering a wide variety of treatments.


Desert guides and field trips

Our staff includes professional desert guides which will be happy to advise you on tracks in the area. It is possible to book guided hikes and jeep trips in the area.

Directions

We are located in Hatzeva, a small Moshav (village) midway between the Dead Sea (35 minutes) and Eilat (1.5 hours). If you arriving from Tel-Aviv/Jerusalem drive towards Eilat. We are 20 minutes south of Arava junction on route 90. Take a left turn to Hatzeva and drive straight and enter the village. Keep straight till the 'No Entry' sign, where you take a right turn. At the circle keep straight, and 300 meters later you will see us on the right-hand side.

From Tel-Aviv: take Egged bus 394 or 393 and get off at Hatzeva.
From Jerusalem: take Egged bus no. 444 and get off at Hatzeva
