We have double, twin, triple and family rooms available, all equipped with cable television, telephones, Free WiFi and hairdryers. Many rooms have great views over Dame Street, towards Temple Bar and the River Liffey.
Mercantile Bar & Grill offers a good-value menu of Irish produce, serving lunch and dinner until 22:00. Choose from fresh soups, homemade burgers and the stew of the day.
The Mercantile has a central location and is ideal for exploring Dublin's South Bank with its galleries, cafes, restaurants, open-air markets and new river boardwalk.

Dublin Airport We recommend that you take the 16A bus from the airport. It is very regular and only costs i 2.20 per person. Ask the driver to let you off at the first stop on Georges Street and the hotel is a 1 minute walk from the bus stop. The bus stop is indicated on the map above. The entrance to the hotel is located on Dame Lane. The Aircoach also provide a fast and efficient service to the city and the nearest drop off point is Trinity College which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Fares cost i 7.00 per person.
A taxi from the Airport should cost no more the i 25.00. If you decide to take a taxi agree a price with the driver before you get in.
If you are arriving into Dublin Port there is a regular bus service (53 or 53A) provided by Dublin Bus from the ferry port to Eden Quay right next to Oi Connell Street, the hotel is short walk from here. If you arrive into Dublin via Dun Laoghaire Port, the train station is right next door and you can travel by DART to Tara Street station and walk to the Mercantile Hotel. Trains run about every 20 minutes from 6.30am to 11.30pm; i 1.80 for adults and i 1.00 for children.
By train the two primary train stations are Connolly and Heuston. Connolly Station is a 10 minute walk to the Mercantile Hotel. It is possible to catch the LUAS from Heuston Station; you would get off at Jervis station and walk across the Liffey at the Millennium Bridge through Temple Bar. Busaras, the national bus station is similar to Connolly rail station and can be reached by a short walk.
Car If you are travelling by car we recommend Drury Street Car Park which is 2 minutes from the hotel. Please quote that you are staying at the Mercantile Hotel and wish to avail of the overnight rate which is i 5.00 from 6.30pm i 10am. It costs i 2.80 per hour after this time.
