Ukuku Rural Lodge is an eco-touristic project, that combines a peaceful retreat with adventure sports, farm life, and scientific activities; we are looking to attract children and adults, domestic and foreign travelers with a love for nature, who desire a truly restful and unique experience in a natural environment, both friendly and full of beauty. In this way, URL plans to build a business enterprise based on social responsibility, generator of economic support to the local community and the development of micro-farms in the Combeima river basin in Ibagué, Colombia.
The lodge is a comfortable wooden chalet with three bedrooms (one for couples and two with accommodations for up to four guests per room), a complete kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator, one shared bathroom and family room.
You can read calmly or you will find some board games to pass the time. There are ecological programs available; like trekking, horseback riding, bird watching, rock climbing and normal farm activities. We also have a camping area available.

Guests must show an official identity document at check-in.
A cash deposit is required at check-in for incidental charges.

Check-in begins at: 3:00 p.m.
Only cash payments are accepted.

To reach Ukuku Rural Lodge you can take the bus in the City Center (1st Street and 13th Street), the route is to 'Juntas'. Just at the entrance to the town of Juntas, near the school there is an unpaved road on your left. Get off the bus here (there is an Ukuku sign at this place). Proceed up this unpaved road and cross over the Las Perlas creek bridge, next you will pass over a covered wooden bridge of the Combeima river. Further on you will find a wooden gate, located on the right hand side of the road. You will have to cross the gate and follow the road. From the gate to the Ukuku Lodge is approximately 600 meters, up a gravel road. You can also reach the lodge by car but, it must be 4x4 jeep or truck.
