Day 1: Mombasa / Tsavo East
0700hrs: Pick up from your hotel as dawn breaks. We then drive inland along the Mombasa / Nairobi Highway, a distance of 140km to enter Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. The gate allows for a brief stopover for refreshments and call of nature.
We commence our day's game viewing on entry, looking out for lion, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, baboons, gerenuk, a variety of antelopes, hundreds of species of birds and plenty of other plains game. We then proceed to Voi Safari lodge or similar for lunch.
In the afternoon, back to the park for game tracking. We drive near the water holes where animals come to quench their thirst. We return to the lodge by sunset for dinner and overnight.

Tea or coffee and out for our early morning game drive, looking out for predators on the hunt. Back to the lodge for a copious breakfast and then out again for our final game drive.
After lunch we drive back to Mombasa, arriving in our beach hotel late afternoon.
