YMCA Geoagiu Hostel is situated in the heart of Transylvania in an area of rich natural beauty and historical value. On the grounds of the hostel is Transylvania's first rotunda church from the 11th century and also a reformed church from 1930.
The hostel is a camp and conference centre serving the YMCA and other non-profit organizations and charitable institutions. The hostel is an ideal place for retreats, conferences, seminars, and training programs or relaxations.
Within short distances you can enjoy relaxing days at the nearby tourist centre or you can visit Deva or Hunedoara medieval castles, the Retezat National Park or City of Sibiu - European Capital of culture 2007.
We welcome guests all year around and we are able to accommodate groups from 1-65 people. Our varied styles of rooms (2,4,6,17 and 20-bedded) have proven to be equally adaptable for any kind of group.
We offer a dining room seating 80 persons, a clubhouse ideal for a group of 20 persons and a seminar room of 25 persons.
Toilets and bath facilities are located on the corridor and in the basement of the main building.
The hostel offers full catering: breakfast, mid morning coffee, lunch afternoon tea with cakes and evening meal.
Outdoor activities: - bathing at the local hot springs, which are situated 6 km away from the Centre, next to a Roman thermal bath; - sports, football and volleyball fields; - workshops for which we can provide equipments.

by air: there are flights to nearby cities like Cluj Napoca, Targu Mures, Sibiu
by road: from the main road on the E72 look for the sign to Geoagiu Bai
by rail: take the train to Orastie; the station is 9 km from the Centre, and there are plenty of taxis and buses to Geoagiu town.
The bus stop is 300m from the Centre.
