Directions
How to get here
If you come by plane, a taxi from the airport will cost $30,000 pesos ($35,000 pesos at night). If you want to take the bus, the first bus will take you as far as 'carrera 5ª' in the centre of Santa Marta and take a second bus to Taganga. Buses run every 10 minutes from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm.
If you come by bus, a taxi from the bus station will cost between 10.000 and 15.000 pesos. Establish a price before you get in to avoid any misunderstanding later!
For $1200 pesos you can take a bus from the bus station direct to Taganga. If you are in the Center of Santa Marta you can walk to the 'Carrera 5ª' and catch any bus that says "Calle 11 Taganga". The cost by taxi is $7.000 pesos, $8.000 at night.
From where the bus drops you coming from Santa Marta, 2 blocks past the church, walk straight ahead and take the 2nd turn to the right. Walk up the hill around 100 metres and the hostel is on your right. Just Follow the turtle on the walls!
