Minnesota's historic Gunflint Trail area is located in the far northern tip of the Minnesota "arrowhead" region. We are the gateway to the Eastern section of the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area (BWCAW), one of the most pristine wilderness areas in the US. Moose, wolves, bears and loons abound.
Our 11 cabins and 4 lodge townhouses are all different, copvering a wide range of prices from "simple and cozy" to "high end luxury." We offer lodging that lets you be close to the BWCAW experience, without camping on a rock. Our accomodations do not have televisions or phones; internet is available in the Main Lodge for your use, but not in the cabins. All cabins have wood burning stoves or fireplaces; lodges offer gas fireplaces. Every cabin has its own private dock. In winter all the cabins are close to ski trails.
Sauna and hot tub house, both available for private use year 'round. Family dining or fine dining available on a schedule, depending on the season. See the website.
