Clustered amid the blending of the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountain ranges, Ashland, Oregon is home of the Tony Award winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The area features rolling hills, picturesque evergreen forests, vibrant rivers, vineyards, and lively art scene that makes Ashland a destination city. It is located 15 miles north of the California border, halfway between Portland and San Francisco.
Ashland Commons has three units. The upper unit 423 has spectacular mountain views and is approximately 2000 sq. ft. It has an open, spacious fully-equipped kitchen and common area that also functions as a dorm with futons and bunk beds. In addition, there are 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The upper unit 419 has two bedrooms and two baths with two futons in the common area. The compact kitchen has all but a dishwasher. The lower Commons has a smaller kitchen/common area. The kitchen has a stove-top but no oven. All kitchens have refrigerators,dishwashers (not 419), microwaves, toasters, blenders, coffeemakers, cookware and dishes. The lower unit has 2 futons and a set of bunk beds in the common area. There are 2 bedrooms; one has a queen bed, the other has a set of single bunks. One bathroom with a shower is in the unit. The second bathroom is in the laundry area.There is a/c, tv, wifi access, and a laundry. Off-street parking is available for 7 vehicles. A small patio on the east side offers mountain views.
Group rates based on number: $160 for first 2 guests, $15 each additional person (for each unit); individual rates are $26 shared rate, $45- $65 private room rate. There is a 10% lodging tax as well. Upper Commons 423 has a large common area for meetings, retreats. TV for videos; CD player. Upper Commons 419 has TV with video and dvd player, books, games. Lower Commons has cable TV, VCR, as well as books, games. All units have free WIFI access. There's also a coin-operated laundry on the premises. There are 7 off-street parking spaces.
Upper Commons 423: Room #1 has a set of bunk beds, singe above, double below; Room #2 has a queen bed and set of bunks, single above, double below; Room #3 has two sets of bunks, each with a single above, double below. Access to one of the bathrooms is through this room; Room #4 has a double futon, single bed, and set of single bunks. The common area has 2 double futons, 2 sets of single bunks, and a day bed with trundle. Sleeps 20 plus. Upper Commons 419: Both bedrooms have a set of bunk beds with single above and double below plus a double bed. There are two double futons in the common area. Sleeps 8-12 Lower Commons 437: Room #1 has a set of single bunks; Room #2 has a queen bed; the common area has 2 double futons and a set of single bunks. Sleeps 6-10.
