Jiul Hotel

Located in the center of Craiova city, on the European road 70 that makes the link between Timisoara city and Bucharest city.
The old wing of the Jiul Hotel has been started in 1965 and has been put in place in 1970. The new wing of the hotel (rooms and the protocol hall) has been constructed between 1975 and 1980. The old wing was conceived by the architect Elena Capra and the new wing by the architect Petru Falcan.
The construction has a foundation type monolith, concrete walls, classic furnishings, classic paints, marble floors. The total constructed area has 2400 square meters and has four floors.
All the rooms have color TV, international access phone, refrigerator, bath (warm-cold water non stop) and 48 rooms of 204 have conditioner air devices.

A credit card is required to secure the reservation. You have up to 3 days prior to arrival to cancel the reservation without charge. If the reservation is cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival you will be charged 1 night stay. Same day cancellations, no shows or early check out will result in 1 night charge. Payment: credit card will be charged on arrival day.

The hotel is relative close to the railway station at approximately two kilometers, for the tourists who travels with the train and close to the airport, for the tourists who travels with the plane, at approximately six kilometers.
