These high-quality new apartments are located in a nice buiding in the center of Budapest 30 m from an ambient walking street - full of coffee shops art galeries and restaurants - Raday Street.
The 50 sqm apartment have fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, hair driers,ironing facilities. Mobil internet connection is available for 6 euro / day. With oriental style teak wood furnitures and goods. There is a lift and opposite building there is a very good self service restaurant with english menu.
The 25sqm apartment is in a nice building and it is furnished completely new real teakwood furniture and equipment. The apartment is suitable for up to 2 people with a 160x200 double bed. There is a TV with satellite channels. The bathroom with shower.Own toilet.This apartment has no kitchen, but in opposite building is a very good self service restaurant with english menu.This area is full with restaurants and coffe shops.
For bigger groups we have rooms for 6, 8, and 9 persons in our hostel building.These rooms are with shared bathrooms and newly furnished in simple style.
DIRECTIONS
Arrival by train:
There are three main railwaystations called Keleti, Nyugati and Déli.
From Keleti train station take the Underground No 2(red line) Follow direction Deli trainstation,get off at Deak square, change the line to Köbánya Kispest and get off at kalvin square.From there few minute walking.
From Nyugati take the metro nr 3(blue line) in direction KOBANYA KISPEST, get off KALVIN SQUARE(4 th stop)
From Déli trainstation we are about 10 minutes by metro & a little walk:
At the train station you'll find the metro entrance one level below. Buy a single ride ticket from the cashier and validate it before the escalator and take a metro. This is the terminal, so there is only one direction. Get off at Astoria (5 stops), then turn to the left when you reach the underground, then upstairs straight ahead exit.
Please keep in mind that you have to use a ticket or pass to use public transportation. Tickets are available at yellow ticket-machines, newspaper-stores and metro offices. One single ticket costs 270HUF(1.25EUR). Those who don't use tickets can be fined by 6000HUF(24EUR).
2. Arrival by bus
From the International Coach Terminal 'Népliget' you can get into our hostel within 20 minutes by metro and an easy walk.
Please keep in mind that you have to use a ticket or pass to use public transportation. Tickets are available at yellow ticket-machines, newspaper-stores and metro offices. One single ticket costs 270HUF(1.25EUR). Those who don't use tickets can be fined by 6000HUF(24EUR).
From the bus terminal you can get to the metro through the underpass. Choose the one in direction to 'Újpest-Központ'. Get off at 'Kálvin tér' which is the 4th stop.
Arrival by plane
If you want to make your own way to get to the hostel, we would recommend you three other options from the airport, which is taxi, the airport-minibus service or public transportation.
Present days the cost of airport-minibus is 2490HUF(10EUR)/person for one way, which is worth if you have lots of luggages and you travel alone. Otherwise an official taxi can be cheaper, as they have fixed fares from the airport, and the taxi goes to one address, while the minibus delivers several passengers. If I convinced you about the comforts of use a taxi, please read the advices below about taxies.
By public transportation we are about a half hour using the airport-bus and metro from the airport.
Please keep in mind that you have to use a ticket or pass to use the public transportation. Tickets are available at yellow ticket-machines, newspaper-stores and metro offices. One single ticket costs 270HUF(1.25EUR). Those who don't use tickets can be fined by 6000HUF(24EUR).
Between the terminal 2 and 2A, there is a bus stop for the Airport-Bus, which is a service of the Budapest Transport Company known as BKV.
It is a public vehicle, so you should punch a ticket for using this transportation.
Tickets are available at newspaper-stores, metro stations, ticket-machines from the street and from the bus-driver in cases.
If you buy a ticket from the driver, please check if it wasn't validated before.
After getting on the bus please ensure you've punched your ticket, so you won't be fined. Ride on the bus until it lasts, then you'll be on 'Kõbánya-Kispest'.
Validate a new ticket again, then take a metro until 'Kálvin tér' (8th stop).
4. Whenever you want to take a taxi
Usually the taxies are not expensive, if I talk about the large companies. But you should definitely avoid private cabs, they are 'official pickpockets', they can ask horrible amounts for few kilometers. Usually it is cheaper if you call one by phone. Every taxi should have a fare list on the rear window.
