Often referred to as a Boutique Hotel, Ard na Breatha Guesthouse and Restaurant, offers four diamond AA, Hotel standard bed and breakfast, and is one of the first B&B providers in Donegal to win the E.U. Flower Award for Eco Tourism. Described by many guests as a hidden treasure, this wonderful bed and breakfast is located 1.5km from Donegal Town, just off the road to Lovely Lough Eske.

Ard na Breatha Guesthouse and Restaurant, offers Bed and Breakfast in quality private rooms which are purpose built on Albert and Theresa Morrow's working farm and is surrounded by acres of green fields, yet its just a short 10 minute walk from Donegal Town, and under an hours drive from Donegal or Sligo Airport. It is family run with Theresa working front of house, and Albert Head Chef. Our main emphasis is on you our guest, to provide the utmost comfort and customer care.

You will be assured of a warm Irish welcome, in our cosy lounge, complete with open hearth, which has lovely views of the Bluestack Mountains, and the split level dining room is overlooking the market town of Donegal. Our en-suite bedrooms (all with bath) are decorated in traditional country style, with wrought iron beds, wool rugs, antique pine furniture. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities, TV, direct dial, hairdryer, alarm clocks and free WiFi.

Our fully licensed Award Winning Restaurant specializes in modern Irish Cuisine with an emphasis on Local & Organic food where possible and offers an extensive wine list. Ard na Breatha Restaurant Donegal Town is renowned for creating a dining experience, so when you dine with us the table is yours for the entire evening therefore booking is essential. As we use only the freshest ingredients mostly grown on our adjoining farm,our creative menu is ever changing with the seasons. With the Atlantic Ocean and Irelands largest fishing port in Killybegs being closely located, there is always a choice to tempt the seafood lover. Superb Irish beef and excellent quality vegetables, are all used to create a tempting and imaginative menu.

Ard na Breatha's fully licensed bar is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet drink with friends by the open fire. Our Guest rooms, which are situated on the site of an old barn, are linked to the Restaurant by a covered walkway thus ensuring utmost privacy for our Residents. Rooms are furnished with traditional pine furniture and wrought iron beds, all are en-suite with bath, telephone, hairdryer, T.V. and Tea/Coffee making facilities.there is also WIFi at no extra cost for our guests. We have family rooms, double and twin rooms available.

Enjoy a delicious organic breakfast. Following a refreshing sleep, one can enjoy our beautiful breakfast buffet of Fruit Juices, Cereals, Home made Breads, Yogurts, Fresh Fruit, and a choice of cheeses. For those with a good appetite why not start the day with our full Irish breakfast, or try our speciality of Organic Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs.There is a full and varied Menu to choose from to suit all tastes.

We are a three minute drive from Donegal Town.
Come into Donegal Town Centre, take the Killybegs Road, drive 200 yards and take the first road to right, sign posted for Ard na Breatha and Lough Eske etc. Continue on this road until you come to a mini roundabout go right here at the XL Shop, straight ahead for approx. half a mile, under the bypass, Ard na Breatha is at the top of the hill.

Our location on N15 bypassing Donegal Town.
On approaching Donegal Town from either Sligo, Derry, or Letterkenny, you will come to a roundabout at Lidl store, take the Killybegs exit N56 from here, at the next roundabout take a left in towards Donegal Town, take the next left (last sign on the signpost is Ard na Breatha, other signs on the post Lough Eske Etc) continue until you come to a mini roundabout take a right here at the XL shop, continue straight ahead pass the houses, for approx. half a mile,under the bypass ,we are at the top of the hill.
