So why do we call ourselves Grand Hostel?
The hostel is situated in a historical building right beside the Tempelhofer Ufer. You will not find any bunk beds in our rooms instead we offer you super comfy beds. Our newly decorated boutique lounge with bar and book exchange invites you to relax after a day of sightseeing.
We have just opened our very own Grandwich Bar which offers a varity of delicious sandwiches,paninis and traditional german food. Additonally on the weekend we can recommend our breakfast brunch.
We are situated in trendy Kreuzberg in the heart of Central Berlin. The famous Bergmannstrasse with its bars, cafes and restaurants is only a 10-minutes walk away.
Lots of the city's main attractions such as Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish Museum and the famous Potsdamer Platz are in walking distance.

From Airport Schoenefeld: Take Bus X7 or 171 to station 'Rudow' . Then change to U-train U7 till station 'Mockernbrucke'. Takes 45 mins.
From Airport Tegel: Take Bus X9 or 109 to station 'Jakob-Kaiser-Platz' then change to U-train U7 direction Rudow. Exit station 'Mockernbrucke'. Takes 35 mins.
From the U-train Station 'Mockernbrucke':
Take the exit where the flowershop is. Upstairs turn right and walk app. 100 meter. On the right side you will find your home in Berlin - the Grand Hostel Berlin.
Main train station: take Bus M41 and exit 'Willy-Brandt-Haus'. Takes 15 mins.
Walk 20 meters back in the direction the bus came from.
Turn left in Grossbeerenstrasse and walk down to the river.
Cross the bridge and on your right hand side you will find your home in Berlin - the Grand Hostel Berlin.
