Newly restored apartment in the heart of Venice, it is located only few steps from the Rialto Bridge so it will need just 15 minutes by walking to reach St. Mark's Square.
The apartment is in a comfortable area of the city loved by the venetians for the shops and the Rialto fish market. There is also a supermarket very close to the apartment.
The area is one of the most picturesque in the city, starting with Campo San Polo, once a theater for the bull hunt and of masked celebrations during carnival time, continuing on towards Rialto, among all sort of shops evoking the oriental commercial spirit of the city, and then to the very colorful fruit and typical fish market, once called 'Erbaria e Pescaria' which together with Beccaria, where meat was sold, conformed the commercial heart of Venice.
Ca' Bernarda is at the first floor of a traditional building. The apartment, with oak-beamed, is about 50 square meters and it comprises a living room with sofa bed, a double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen nook and a bathroom with bath/shower.
It is perfect for 2 people but it can easily accommodate up to 4 persons.

Directions

To reach the apartment you have to get to S. Silvestro boat stop.

From the Venice 'Marco Polo' airport you have two possibilities:
- by private water taxi;
- by the 'Venice Air Terminal' bus which will take you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. From there, take vaporetto n° 1 and get off at the S. Silvestro stop.

From the station you can take vaporetto n° 1 and get off at the S. Silvestro stop.

You can park your car in Piazzale Roma and then take vaporetto n° 1 and get off to the S. Silvestro.

From the vaporetto stop of 'San Silvestro' to the apartment:
Once you get off the vaporetto continue on foot: pass Sottoportego de la Pasina, turn left and soon after turn right on Calle del Sbianchesisi and continue until you reach Campo Sant'Aponal. Turn left after the Pizzeria. At the end of the street keep right until you come to a small square. You will have arrived at number 1321.
