Mosaic Hostel

A hostel newly relocated and renovated in 2010, located a five-minute walk from Termini station and Piazza della Repubblica in central Rome, Hostel Mosaic is of the highest standard for budget accommodation in Italy.

The hostel spans two floors and provides the latest amenities, security and comfort for the independent traveller or anyone wishing to stay in peaceful, calm surroundings after an exhausting day sightseeing in the most exciting and beautiful city in the world.

We offer a wide range of dorms and private rooms varying from two beds to four beds. Our two-bed private rooms and dorms have their own air conditioning. Choose between ensuite facilities or standard, where the bathroom is situated on the corridors. All rooms have linen included and high-quality beds. Towels are available for hire or sale.

Lockers are available at reception. The whole hostel is covered by video surveillance making it comfortable and secure.

Guests can enjoy Internet access, plasma-screen TV and a free breakfast of tea, coffee, juice, toast and cereal.

Our reception is open 24 hours so there's no curfew. We have international, friendly and multi-lingual speaking staff.

Our hostel is situated in a great central location just minutes' walking distance to Piazza della Repubblica or a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre where you will find the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and much more. Just hop on the metro and it's only a five-minute ride to all of these.

Close by the hostel you will find all of the amenities such as supermarkets, Laundromat and restaurants. Right next door you'll find one of the oldest and most famous wine bars of Rome - Trimani.

Directions

From Termini Station:
Mosaic Hostel is located within five minutes' walk from Termini train station.
Exit Termini Station at Track 1 with the train tracks at your back. Track 1 is on the right-hand side of the station.
Make a left on Via Marsala, and then go straight in Via Volturno.
Continue down Via Volturno, until you reach Via Cernaia then go right. We are 50 metres down on the right hand side at no. 39B. Ring the bell to enter.

From Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (Fiumincino - FCO):
Follow the signs for 'ai treni.' At the platform, buy a ticket for the non-stop train to Termini (14 Euros).
You can buy tickets from either the ticket window, the vending machines, or the tobacco store near the tracks. Then follow the directions 'From Termini Station' as above.

From Ciampino Airport (CIA):
Take the Terravision bus shuttle for 8 Euros. The bus will stop on Via Marsala. Walk down Via Marsala & follow the directions 'From Termini Station' as above.

NB: Please please careful of pickpockets; they have begun to target the area that the shuttle arrives/departs from.

By another way the blue Cotral Bus service connects Ciampino Airport to the Anagnina Metro A (underground) station. Tickets can be purchased at the vending machines located at the bus stop or inside the airport. Once you arrive at Anagnina, buy a metro ticket and get off at Termini (about the 15th stop). Follow the directions 'From Termini Station' as above.
