This area, then, constitutes the ideal base for those on a limited budget visiting Rome for a vacation or to study, since it is within striking distance of the historical center and all other parts of the city, thanks to the proximity of the Tiburtina metro stop. The Casal Bertone district is home to a great number of families and young people, and the main local thoroughfare features two different internet cafes and a large Auchan superstore.

The Speedybed Bed & Breakfast is located in Casal Bertone, one of Rome's student quarters - near La Sapienza University - that has preserved a sense of autonomy in the immense urban landscape that has been built around it.

How to get there:

To reach Speedybed B&B from Fiumicino airport, you can take the train direct to Tiburtina station. Just outside the main exit of the station, there is the bus n.409 that will carry you in few minutes to the stop Casalbertone.

If you will land in Ciampino airport, you can take a shuttle to the Metro A starting from Anagnina, get off at the stop Arco di Travertino, and take the bus 409 till the stop Casalbertone.

From Termini station, you can get the metro B (blu line) for 4 stops, to Tiburtina station.
As soon as you go out from the main exit, there is the bus 409 that will carry you in few minutes to Casalbertone.


From the bus stop Casalbertone, get off and walk back for some metres, till the big red palm
that sign the beginning of Via Domenico Cucchiari, and our B&B Speedybed
is at the ni 46 stair B. You can ring at the Ni 11 or 23 stair B.
