Our family owned and operated Bed and Breakfast "La Girandola" is located at 50 meters (54 yds.) from the central Termini train station and 100 meters (109 yds.) from the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore.
The Bed and Breakfast 'La Girandola' is located on the first floor of a typical building of the end of 800 century. The apartment is quite spacious, it is bright and furnished with attention to all details. Modern furniture, realizing a welcoming and elegant ambiance, where you will spend a really nice stay.
All bedrooms have been recently refurbished to offer a comfortable accommodation in the centre of Rome. The ensuite bathrooms are well equipped with shower, hairdryer, towels and soaps. Each room has a television, a mirror, desk, air conditioning, private lockers and freezer.
The Bed and Breakfast La Girandola is situated inside the ancient walls of Rome city, between Piazza di Porta Maggiore and the famous Santa Maria Maggiore Church, and within seven hundred metres of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. It is also just a few steps from the central station Termini. As staff are not always on the premises, please let us know in advance at what time you intend to check-in.
By car:
From the highway follow directions for Rome centre and then Termini Railway station. Take the exit to Via Giolitti and from here turn on the right for 50 meters to Via Cattaneo. The girandola B&B is at number 31.
By Metro:
It is 5 minutes walking from the Metro station Termini (Metro A and Metro B) as well as the Metro station Repubblica (Metro A). From here take the exit to Via Giolitti and turn on the right for 50 meters to Via Cattaneo. The Girandola B&B is at number 31.
From Fiumicino Airport:
The international Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport is connected by a direct shuttle train (Leonardo Express) with the main railway station Termini. From here take the exit to Via Giolitti and turn on the right for 50 meters to Via Cattaneo. The Girandola B&B is at number 31. The shuttle train is running every 30 minutes.
