Located in the heart of the city, the Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club is only minutes from the state capitol, University of Wisconsin and Monona Terrace Convention Center . Voted Madison's most business-friendly hotel, this also is a great choice for visitors coming to see the sights or to catch up with friends and family . Walk to the farmer's market, workout in the heated indoor pool or relax in the on-site sauna . PLEASE NOTE: Beginning November 24, 2014, lobby and restaurant renovations necessitate the closing of our Dayton St . Grille restaurant . During this time we will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in The Bar . We will be taking extra care to ensure this change will meet all of our guests dining needs and maintaining our high service standards . Effective December 14, 2014, the hotel lobby will be closed . Check-in and check-out will be done on the second floor, accessible via elevator from our underground parking garage . We anticipate the re-opening of our lobby in January 2015 . We apologize for the inconvenience, but are excited for the transformation of our new restaurant and lobby .
