When you visit the Cross Lanes you will be touched by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape which provides the ideal backdrop for your holiday break or business occasion . Cross Lanes was originally built as a private house in the reign of Queen Victoria and converted to a hotel in 1959 . The Victorian features and homely feeling have been carefully preserved to this day . The superb oak panelling in the front hall, older than the original house, dates back to the Jacobean period circa 1618 . It was rescued from Emral Hall in Worthenbury and carefully restored at Cross Lanes . Please note, pets are not permitted . Please note that, over the Christmas period, guests may experience higher levels of noise due to Christmas parties, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights .
