General Description
Beautifully restored and tastefully refurbished in a traditional manner, Charleville is often referred to as boutique accommodation. It offers our guests inimitable service and comfort in an atmosphere that is welcoming, attentive and personal. An elegant Victorian property, completely refurbished to offer all the facilities normally associated with larger hotels, while retaining the charm of the building.
We have 30 bedrooms beautifully decorated, all en suite and equipped with direct dial telephone, TV and central heating. The general facilities we provide in the hotel include a Residents lounge, trouser press and ironing facilities on each floor, fax facilities, babysitting service, guest parking and a full fire detection and alarm system.
Tea/coffee facilities, car park and internet access are available free of charge to residents.
Charleville Lodge is within 15 minutes walk of the city centre, and on a main bus route. Temple Bar, Croke Park, Phoenix Park, Trinity College, Dublin Airport and Dublin Port are all within 15 minutes by taxi.
Dublin and its surrounds has a lot to offer in terms of theatre, cinema, music and is second to none with what it has to offer in terms of nightlife.

On receipt of your booking, a preauthorisation to the value of the first nights stay will be carried out on your credit card. If the card is declined when attempting to get a preauthorisation, Charleville Lodge reserves the right to cancel the reservation and resell the room as it is no longer guaranteed when the card is declined.
Coming by bus
Take either the 16A (€1.65), the Expresso 747 (€6.00) or the Aircoach (€7.00) to the City Centre. Alight at the first stop on O'Connell St. Cross the road and take the number 46A (€1.90) which terminates at the Phoenix Park. Alight at the stop after St. Peter's Church. We are just after the stop on your left hand side. Tell the driver you wish to get off at Charleville Lodge.
Coming by taxi
It takes 20-25 minutes depending on traffic and it costs about €20-€25 plus extras.
Go North from O'Connell Street to Phibsborough, take left fork and Charleville Lodge is located 250 metres on the left.
