Hotel San Marco

Hotel San Marco is located in the centre of Florence close to the train station. All of the city\'s attractions are within walking distance of the hotel including museums, churches, shops, restaurants, clubs and bars, the leather market and the food market (with delicious gourmet delicacies that you can take away or have shipped home), and more.

The friendly staff will be happy to provide any information you may need about Florence and the surrounding areas.

The hotel has bright comfortable rooms, all of which have air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. The hotel has rooms with or without private bathroom. Hairdryers are available on request. All our rooms have free wifi access. There are quiet rooms (off the street) available and one room with a balcony.

Guests are provided with a key to the front door so you have access 24 hours.

Free wifi (ask for our password at the desk) is available in all rooms and common areas.

For parking there are several garages within walking distance (5 minutes, one of them is in Piazza della Libertà, EUR 20 per day) or upon request on your arrival we can call a special garage that will pick up your car from the hotel and return it whenever you need it (for a daily rate of EUR 26, to be paid directly to garage staff). Otherwise the car can be parked for EUR 10 outside the limited traffic area, with a special parking card that you can buy from us.
Please be aware that all of central Florence has very strict circulation rules, contact us in advance if you\'re driving here!

This hotel has a cosy atmosphere with special offers for groups or longer stays and is ideal for short breaks in Florence for any occasion.

IMPORTANT: the hotel cancellation policy is of 72 hours.

The tourist tax of EUR 1 per person per night (cash only) is not included.

By taxi - Very close, so fairly cheap
By bus - Numbers 6, 11, 14, 17, 23, getting off in Piazza San Marco)
On foot - 10 minutes

From Amerigo Vespucci Airport, Florence:
By taxi - EUR 20 flat rate excluding extras (luggage, holiday or nightly rates)
By bus - there is a special Vola in bus service to and from the Santa Maria Novella railway station

By car:
The area around the hotel is limited traffic only but you can get in to unload your luggage (in this case have your license plate number ready to be given to our staff so as not to receive a ticket). Cars with foreign license plates can park and circulate in this area as if they were residents for the whole month of August.
