Hotel Romagna

Hotel Romagna is very centrally located, situated in one of the most important streets in Florence between the Duomo and the central train station of Santa Maria Novella.

The whole historical centre is reachable within a few minutes walk like the central market which is behind the hotel and Ponte Vecchio which is only a 10-minute walk.

All our rooms have private bathroom, satellite TV, telephone with direct line and most of our rooms have a safety box. On the top floor our rooms offer a romantic view over the Medici Chapels and the Florentine roofs.

We are always happy to give good tips on where to eat and which tours are best by quality and price.

Should you cancel your reservation 2days before the date of arrival, through fax or e-mail, there will be no charge. Otherwise one night charge will be made for each room booked.

From July 1st the City Council of Florence will introduce the tourism tax, applied to non resident overnight staying for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. The tax is euro 2.00 per person per night to be payed directly at the hotel upon arrival/departure

Directions

If you reach Florence by train you must get out from the left exit of the station and follow the main street towards the Cathedrale. You will find us in Via Panzani 4 after about 6 minutes walk.

By plane, you can take the shuttle (SITA) to the train station and then walk here, or a taxi. It's about a 20/30 min ride.

By car you must take the fist exit for Florence, whether you come from south or north and then follow all the indications for the centre or Santa Maria Novella train station. You can stop in front our Hotel door and if you wish to put your car in a garage we will call one and somebody will come to pick up your car; the daily charge is 24 €.
