Best Places to Kiss 2009 gave us their highest 4-kisses rating, the only Olympic Peninsula B&B to earn that distinction. Amazing mountain views, idyllic ponds, romantic fireplace suites, king beds, superb amenities. Gourmet breakfast, lattes, spa. Starting at
$219 per night
The Lost Mountain Lodge is just minutes to the Olympic National Park, the Dungeness Spit & National Wildlife Refuge, the Lavender farms in Sequim, historic Port Townsend seaport, Port Angeles, and the ferries to Victoria, British Columbia. Many attractions such as the Hurricane Ridge summit, the waterfall trails at Lake Crescent, the Hoh Rain Forest, Solduc Falls, and the Pacific Ocean beaches are a pleasant morning drive (35 to 90-minutes) from the Lodge.
Beautifully and privately sited on 9-acres, the main Lodge is relaxed and casually elegant with lovely views of the snow-capped mountains, sunny meadows, cottage gardens, and tranquil ponds from every room. Artistic and uncluttered interiors are just the beginning of a fresh interpretation of what a country inn should be! With only three private suites, you'll feel like the entire 4200-sq.ft. Lodge is your personal getaway.
From the two-story great room with its soaring fieldstone fireplace, to the reading loft with its spectacular view, to the spacious gourmet kitchen with its beamed ceiling and cozy conversation area, everything has been designed for the comfort -- and privacy -- of our guests.
All rooms have pleasant amenities like fluffy down comforters with European-style duvets, silky microfiber resort robes, built-in hair dryers, luggage stands, 32-inch widescreen, flat-panel HDTV-DVDs, CD players, and clock radios.
Main Lodge guests also enjoy a new dual waterfall hydrotherapy spa under the stars! Because our property is so far removed from city lights, the night sky is simply spectacular. Take one falling star, add a slight mist rising from the ponds, and underscore the peacefulness with an evening symphony of frogs and crickets -- and you'll discover a truly memorable way to end the day.
Every B&B suite is designed to delight the senses and pamper the soul with fireplaces, stylish private baths, King-size pillow top beds, down comforters with European duvets, and lavish 400-threadcount, 100% cotton percale sheets that we line dry in the summer and iron by hand! Designed for an adult clientele, the main Lodge B&B suites are: The Creekside The Sunnyview The Moonbeam
The Hideaway on Quail Lake -- a private villa with its own private entrance -- is a favorite of honeymooners and celebrities. It is simply gorgeous with granite fireplace, walls of windows and French doors, sumptuous bath with Italian stone & tile, dual sinks, jetted tub and separate shower. There's also a charming Bistro Kitchenette with slab granite counters, stainless steel undercounter frig, microwave & dishwasher, Cuisinart coffee maker, tea kettle and toaster -- perfect for longer stays where you might like to prepare lunch or stash some snacks, a bottle of wine and the makings for a picnic.
The Guest House is a charming, 2-bedroom vacation rental on the main Lodge property which features a great room with fireplace and piano, a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances (including a dishwasher), full bath with vaulted ceilings and skylight, private decks with stainless steel gas grill, and your own private 6-person Sundance hydrotherapy spa. Like all three vacation cottage rentals, the Guest House is kid-friendly and we can provide portable cribs, high chairs, diaper pails and other kid-friendly amenities upon request.
Pamper yourself with one of our exceptional "Spa Indulgence Packages" that feature in-room His & Her massages plus champagne & chocolates.
We can also arrange Guide Services for kayaking, fly fishing in the backcountry, golf packages at great nearby Dungeness Greens, Butchart Garden tours to Victoria, BC. and snow-shoeing at Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park.
The Lodge is a National Wildlife Federation certified habitat. Since the resident wildlife is so important to the quality of our guests' experience, we cannot accept your pets. However, we are happy to recommend a local kennel.
For the comfort of our guests, the Lost Mountain Lodge, the Guest House, and all grounds are non-smoking only.
Children under 16 are warmly welcomed in our private cottages only. The main Lodge suites are for adult clientele only.
There is secure parking on the property -- for our guests only -- for boats, campers, RVs, jet skis, and snowmobiles.
