We recommend Joe Tecces, an old Italian family restaurant (they have non-Italian food as well) that's been there forever, because it has great food and ambience, reasonable prices for Boston, and is right on your way to here. Boston is presently all torn up for the Big Dig highway/harbor reconstruction project and rather difficult to get around by car if you don't know your way}If you print out and bring these directions, you should manage fine. Go through the toll booths, ($2 charge, have it ready), through the tunnel, staying to the right. When you exit the tunnel still keeping to the right, head straight, with the Tedeschi liquor store on your right. Joe Tecce's is approximately 1/2 mile on your right. It's easy to miss, as it is a rather unobtrusive brick building. Parking across the street.Before you leave the restaurant, ask the easiest way to Route 93 /3 South. (Route I 93 is also MA Route 3 at this point.) Signs will say to Cape Cod. Follow Route 3 South (Route 93 goes right in Braintree. You stay left), following signs to Cape Cod all the way to Exit 2, Herring Pond Road. Don't get off at earier Plymouth exits. Take a right off the exit ramp onto Herring Pond Road, Then left onto Route 3A, passing the Sunoco station. Drive 2.3 miles, passing the Indian Head resort on your left. take second right, Center Hill Road, passing the tree nursery on your left. Take first right at Beach House sign, onto Harlow's Landing. Bear left at the fork onto Black Pond Lane. Proceed down this one-lane dirt road to the paved drive with the small white Beach House signs on each side. Parking is on the right or at the upper left corner.
