Built in 1825, the Stowe In at Little River is perfectly located to help you enjoy all Vermont has to offer. From here it is just a few minutes drive to all your outdoor adventures.
Just outside our door is a variety of actvities for all age and ability levels. For the winter adventurer, you can spend the day at Spuce Mountain, Smuglers Notch Resort or Mount Mansfiled Resort. If you prefer to cross-country ski or snowshoe, head to the Cross-Counry Touring Center at Mount Mansfied or the Trapp Family touring Center. For the summer adventurer, you can go Hiking, Biking, Rollerblading, canoeing or Kayking, we have it all. Whether it's a day on the slopes, or relaxing stroll down the recreation path, Stowe Vermont and The Stowe Inn at Little River have the keys to your outdoor adventures.
A typical day here at the Inn consists of a nice hot cup of coffee with a bagel or maybe a muffin in one of our beautiful sitting rooms. Then it's off for the days activity. Upon returning to the Inn, perhaps a drink in the bar, or a nice relaxing dip in the outdoor heated pool, or mabye the hot tub followed by a wonderful dinner in the Little river cafe. Our very own window walled restaurant over looking the heart of Stowe Village. Then it's off to bed for a peaceful nights sleep.
All 43 rooms here at the in have cable TV, telephone and private Bath. We have 1 suite, and 2 rooms with a fireplace. With each room comes a Continental Breakfast. Also here at the Inn is the Little River Cafe. With over 40 restaurants in Stowe Competition is pretty fierce and The Little River Cafe is considered to be one of the best restaurants in Stowe.
