Bristol RI is located between Providence and Newport on the Narragansett Bay. This quaint New England downtown settled in 1680, is listed in the National Register and boasts antique stores, gift shops, museums (7), fine restaurants and pubs. Bristol is the home of the America's Cup Hall of Fame, Blithewold Gardens & Arboretum, and Linden Place (home of Samuel Colt). The outdoor enthusiast will enjoy biking, roller-blading, or walking along the Bristol Bike path (15 miles each way), strolling through Colt State Park (350 acres)or kayaking in the bay. This friendly historic town is a rare find.
This 1809 Federal style home boasts very large common rooms and guest quarters with ten foot ceilings. Front and back parlors open to each other, as well as to the dining room through 8 foot pocket doors offering a grand and open feeling. Spectacular inlaid hardwood floors and stenciling adorn most rooms. The Inn sits on a private 1/2 acre w/ fish pond and waterfall as well as vegetable and flower gardens. The inn offers a quiet getaway from the hustle of everyday life.
Each of the four rooms is furnished w/ antiques w/ either a queen (1), or king (3) bed. The rooms are generous in size and offer a desk or sit-down vanity area as well as rocking and/or comfy reading chairs. Private baths are modern (since 1992) and offer terry cloth robes and hairblower. 2 rooms offer gas log fireplace ;all have air conditioning in season. A full gourmet breakfast is served in either the porch overlooking the garden, on the patio by the pond, or candle lit in the dining room. Attention to detail can be found everywhere. We are known for our casual elegance and warm hospitality! :)

From the South/west: Rte 95 North to exit 20 in RI (195 East/Cape Cod). Take exit 7 off 195 (Rte 114 South). Follow 114/ (Hope St)into Bristol to 610 Hope St on your left. From Boston: Rte 495/93 to Route 24 South. Follow Rte 24 south towards Newport. Take exit 2 (Bristol/Portsmouth). Right off ramp. Over Mount Hope bridge. Take left hand fork onto Ferry Road (Rte 114). Follow Ferry Road/ Hope St.(Rte 114) to 610 Hope St. One block north of the historic downtowno your right.
