Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains just four miles south of Mariposa on historic "Gold Country" Highway 49 and conveniently located for Yosemite National Park. Fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing, gold panning and local historical sites are just a few of the attractions in this area.
Accommodations
The house was built in 1974 and renovated by Libby and Norm in 1996. It is California ranch, all on one floor with two acreas of garden. Relax on the front porch or enjoy our game/reading room.

The Middle East room has a large sitting area with claw tub and vanity in the bathroom &Elegant& Southwestern room has American southwest decor. &Cozy& Antique room has handmade quilts with large vanity in the bathroom. &Friendly

A Sierra House was on the "Friends of the Library" Home Tour and has been mentioned in the San Jose Mercury News, Sacramento Bee, Fresno Bee, Modesto Bee and Al-Ayyam Al-Jamilah Magazine. Libby and Norm lived in the Middle East for 17 years and have traveled the world. They would love to share their experiences with you.
Map & Directions
Highway 140 to Mariposa and then take Highway 49, four miles. At Indian Peak Road turn and go about 200 yards to Sierra House entrance.
