The Hotel is surrounded by some of Scotlands most delightful scenery, a dozen of the nearby mountains rise to over 3,000 ft - Ben Nevis is only a few miles away. And the first of the Great Glens spectacular lochs is just a short distance from our doorstep. The landscape is steeped in history and romance, and offers some of the most wild, remote and rugged scenery in the west Highlands. The traveller is taken on journeys of geological discovery, historical treasures, wildlife encounters, set amidst the flora and fauna of the west highlands - a sense of open space, laced with fast flowing rivers and deep lochs.

Eleven delightful en-suite bedroms, fitted and furnished to a high standard with facilities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Recently refurbished, each bedroom has private bathroom, colour TV, Tea and Coffee making, hair dryer and direct dial telephone/computer link facility. In addition to Double and Twin-bedded rooms, there is a large Family bedroom to sleep four persons and a Single Room.
Stronlossit is central for touring the west highlands, with a vast array of visitor attractions, day touring trips and activities within an easy drive from the Hotel. The entire area is perfect for hillwalkers, climbers and ramblers and professionally organised fishing and shooting holidays are available. In the winter, the local ski slopes of Aonach Mor are within view from the Hotel which has a central location to the main climbing areas.
The Hotel is tailored to meet the needs of outdoor enthuasists with early breakfast and late meals served. There are drying facilities for wet weather, a safe parking place for valuable cycles, and a lock up for fishing rods and skis, and in the winter months, a large roaring log fire to welcome guests from an adventurous day. Not to be missed is the local "Ceilidh Night" with Scottish Highland Dancer, Piper, Highland Humour and Gaelic Song, and perhaps a malt whisky after dancing the "Strip the Willow".
If travelling from Glasgow, take the A82 to Fort William. At Fort William follow road sign directions to Inverness and still on A82 continue to Spean Bridge ( 8 miles ), take sharp right on Bridge, join A86 to Roy Bridge ( 3 miles ). The Stronlossit is on the left hand side as you leave the village. If travelling from Perth, take A9 to Inverness. Leave A9 at Dalwhinnie and follow A889 through the village of Dalwhinnie with its famous malt whisky distillery, (open to visitors), and join A86 at Laggan. Follow directions to Fort William along the scenic Loch Laggan road. Roy Bridge is 24 miles.
