The hotel is located in Lundin Links, a delightful seaside village, with a population of under 2000, in the East Neuk (East Corner) of the ancient Kingdom of Fife just 12 miles (twenty minutes by car) from the golfers mecca - St Andrews. There are over 20 golf courses within a half hour drive, including the famous Championship courses of Leven, Lundin Links, Ladybank and Scotscraig, all qualifying courses for the British Open when at St Andrews. Other famous courses include Kingsbarns, Elie, the Dukes, Balcomie - Crail and of course St Andrews - Old, New and Jubilee. Edinburgh with many of Scotland's greatest attractions, including the 800 year old Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament and many Art Galleries and Museums, is only a short journey away by Car, Train or Bus. Other major attractions in Fife include the Forth Rail and Road Bridges, Deep Sea World, National Trust Historic Houses for example Kellie Castle and Falkland Palace and Scotland's Secret Bunker. Local Shopping in Lundin Links include a Bank, Post Office, Chemist, Flower shop, Dress shop, Butcher and Newsagent. A former Country House with family accommodation, built around 1860. Converted to a hotel in 1950 and recently modernised and sympathetically extended by the current owners. The property now offers twenty three deligtful bedrooms all ensuite with Bath, Shower and WC, a fine dining restaurant and a charming and unique Bistro, a cocktail/lounge bar and very comfortable lounge. The small self contained function facility was extended in 1999 and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 covers for conferences/meetings or Weddings and other social functions.
