Welcome to one of Connecticut's most beautiful bed & breakfasts. One 123 Main is a victorian charmer. Its sweeping veranda overlooks downtown Chester a little New England town in the lush Connecticut River valley reminiscent of an English villiage.
There are many things to do and see in the area surrounding 123 Main,Bed and Breakfast. Chester has many specialty shops and restautants. The town is a cultural center with art galleries and theaters; at the Goodspeed at Chester new musicals make their debut.
Other local and close-by attractions include: the famous Goodspeed Opera House, the Chester-Hadlyme Ferry, Gillette Castle, the Essex Steam train and River Boat, The Florence Griswold Museum, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium and the Foxwoods and Mohegan Casinos.
One Twenty Three offers five rooms, three with private baths. The other two, a single and a double, share a bath, and may be reserved as a two-bedroom suite. All the guest rooms are located on the second floor of this historic Chester home. Breakfast is served , daily, in the gracious dinning room, with its high ceilings and large 12 over 12 windows. During warmer weather, many guests choose to enjoy their breakfast on the large wrap around veranda.
