Muscatine, Iowa is located on the bend of the Mississippi River. This area both industrial and farm land. Being a river town, began in 1830 there is a great combination of antique and modern architecture. Antique Shops are plentiful.
The house is surrounded by old oak trees with an interesting old brick barn on site. It is decorated with family heirlooms and period antiques. A large screen porch overlooks the back yard. The quiet, peaceful setting is home or a stop over to many wild animals and birds. Guests can enjoy roaming about the acreage or spending time in the guest parlor, dining room,or family room (once the home of the actual strawberry farm sales' room or carpenter shop.

The Cottage Room's bed is an antique iron queen size bed. Yellow and blue with a touch of green are its colors. The bathroom in just down the hall. The Berry Room is decoated with Eastlake furniture. The bed in queen in wideth and full length. It is just across the hall from the bath.
