Here in Kihei it is almost always sunny, so prepare to enjoy some good beach time, including snorkeling, boogie boarding, body surfing, surfing, diving, boating, walking, jogging, or whatever suits your fancy. There is great variety in the beaches here, from the morning calm of Sugar Beach at the north end of Kihei to the surf of Makena to the rough lava coast and dolphins of La Perouse Bay. Enjoy spectacular snorkeling at Magic Lagoon or skinny-dipping at Little Beach. From Kihei, it is a short drive to Maalaea, where you may visit the new Maui Ocean Center and aquarium or take one of the many boat excursions from Maalaea Harbor.On Maui, there are many beautiful drives, as well as hiking trails that will take you to hidden waterfalls or panoramic views of the Valley Isle. Visit the resorts of Wailea and Kaanapali, explore the shops of Lahaina and Whaler's Village, and discover the many excellent restaurants from Wailea to Kapalua.But most of all, kick back and relax, and develop a good case of "Polynesian paralysis", so you return home refreshed and renewed.Your hosts, Bob & Sande, are available to answer questions and direct you to the best restaurants, secret spots, a great massage, or whatever your heart desires.
Vacation Rental Property
Our home is located in North Kihei, where the sun shines most of the year and afternoon tradewinds keep it comfortable. We are close to shops, restaurants, tennis, and golf. The tropical landscaping, private fenced yard and comfortably furnished lanais provide the perfect spot for returning from a hard day's play.Continental breakfast is served on the lanai at 8:15 a.m., surrounded by coconut palms and draped with white and pink bougainvillea. Take in the view while you enjoy fresh ground coffee & assorted teas; fresh island fruit; granola; bagels, muffins, or toast; and a variety of condiments.

We have two guest rooms available, the larger of which, the CORAL SUITE, is a light and spacious room with a king-size bed, plush carpet, air conditioning, and sliding doors opening onto a lanai and garden, with patio table and lounge chairs, surrounded by bougainvillea and other tropical flowers. There is cable TV, private bath, off-street parking, private entrance, phone, refrigerator, beach towels, cooler and umbrella.The OCEAN ROOM has a queen-size bed and private entrance, with a beautiful blue tile floor. Your room adjoins two separate lanais, one a shady nook bordered by anthuriums, the other a partly sunny spot opening onto the garden and tropical fruit trees.Both rooms have private bath, cable TV, ceiling fans, off-street parking, and a shared private phone line. We provide beach towels, beach chairs, and cooler.

Sande & Bob offer "Bring Back the Magic" couples counseling and transformational breathwork for those wishing to add another dimension to their holiday, and we are in touch with excellent massage therapists who can help you relax even more than the sun and warm water.
Policies & Restrictions
Ocean Breeze Hideaway is a non-smoking home, and pets are not allowed. Children are welcome at our oceanfront condo, but not at the B&B. Other than that, we welcome any and all who would like to join us here in paradise.
